His business acumen extends beyond real estate — he founded and operated Go Ahead Funding, an alternative financing company that served thousands of clients.

 Matt's love of the mountains was forged at the Green Mountain Valley School Ski Academy in Waitsfield, Vermont, launching a competitive ski career that took him across Europe and to the University of Vermont. That passion lives on today: he has twice competed in the legendary 24 Hours of Aspen Ski Race, one of the world's most demanding endurance challenges. Off the slopes, he can be found kitesurfing, wing foiling, or cycling the roads and trails around Ruedi Reservoir and Kodiak Lake. 

His commitment to community runs equally deep. Matt served 11 years with the Roaring Fork Fire Protection District as a firefighter, EMT, and swift water rescue technician. During the 2018 Lake Christine Fire, he spent 72 hours on the front lines as a first responder — a reflection of the same dedication he brings to every client relationship.
